Julie Gosney had this to say on the completeion of her NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration:

I have enjoyed completing this NVQ certificate. It is a long time since I was at school and sat exams and I feel this way of learning on the job is very beneficial, it made me think about everything I do daily and putting it into different modules really defines the job I do.

I have worked in admin for 30 years, 20 of them have been for B&Q which has mostly in-house computer systems so I don’t have the facility for using everyday Microsoft packages etc, which is why I have not previously gained qualifications that are readily recognised in the way that an NVQ is.

I am not a person who loves studying but Kate, my Training Advisor, made me feel at ease and gave me the confidence to progress easily and swiftly through this process. I will now consider completing my NVQ Level 4 in the future as previously I was always a little bit negative and felt studying at my age was a little bit daunting.

I would highly recommend anyone who is considering taking on this type of learning to go for it, as it gives you confidence in your abilities. I would also like to thank Kate for her support.
