Christine’s Team Shines
Congratulations to Christine Burnham, Isabelle Quinn, Barbara Leggett, Diane Liddle, and Catherine Wright of Durham Community College who have all successfully completed their NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning and Support.
Christine Burnham accepts the qualification certificates on behalf of her team.
Allan Birch of Zodiac Training said of their achievement, ‘Christine and her staff do a fantastic job at the college and they have a great team spirit. As a former owner-director of a cleaning company I know what a demanding job it can be, the work is tough and the shift patterns can be irregular. These demands can mean that learning and development sometimes take a back seat, but that’s certainly not been the case with Christine and her team – their effort and dedication has been nothing short of exemplary and I am delighted to be here to present their certificates in recognition of a job well done.’

Now I have completed the NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, I feel I have gained a lot more than I first expected. I have learned many skills which are applicable to the various roles my job entails and it has helped me feel more confident and secure in my position.
