Entry requirements

To take this Route to Work you must be aged 19 or over and currently unemployed.

Cost

There is no cost to you, although you will have to cover your travel costs if you have any.

Attendance

Up to 15.5 hours per week. There are also opportunities for Work Placements.

About the Programme

During this programme you must complete at least 1 of the options from List 1 and at least one of the options from List 2 (durations in brackets)

List 1

• The Selling Process in a Competitive Sales Market (up to 120 hrs)
• The Selling Process in a Competitive Telesales Market (up to 120 hrs)
• Level 2 Certificate in Sales and Telesales (120 hrs)
• Level 2 Certificate in Contact Centre Skills (90 hrs)

List 2

• Working in a Team (12 hrs)
• Problem Solving Skills at Work (12 hrs)
• Adult Literacy (45 hrs)
• Adult Numeracy (45 hrs)
• Job Application Skills (12 hrs)
• Interview Skills (12 hrs)
• Job Search Skills (12 hrs)
• Health and Safety at Work (12 hrs)
• Presenting Yourself (12 hrs)
• Being Managed by Others (12 hrs)
• ICT for Employment (12 hrs)

You’ll also work closely with your Tutor to find and gain employment.
