Cleaning and Support
Level 2

Available at NVQ Levels 2 and Apprenticeship.

This qualification is aimed at new entrants to the cleaning industry or at experienced workers who do not yet have a qualification recognised within the industry. The Cleaning and Support Services NVQ Level 2 has been developed from the National Occupational Standards produced by Asset Skills, the Sector Skills Council for cleaning services.

This NVQ and Apprenticeship is designed for people who are involved in Cleaning and Support Services as their main work activity, or are seeking a career in Cleaning and Support Services and wish to take the first steps towards professional qualifications or wish to receive recognition for their Cleaning and Support Services experience.

NVQ Level 2

This NVQ supports the cleaning and support services industry to ensure the present and future capability and competence of its people. Learners completing this NVQ will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to work within the cleaning and support services industry. They will also have a broad experience of the industry and will have gained skills that are transferable to other vocations.
The qualification consists of a total of 6 mandatory units – 2 mandatory plus 4 from a range of options. See the Full Unit List for details.
