Level 2

Available at NVQ Level 2 and Apprenticeship our Team Leading qualification has been developed to reflect the most up-to-date thinking on the role of the team leader. The qualification gives the candidate formal recognition of their performance within the work place and assesses their knowledge and understanding of the key areas of Team Leading.

NVQ Level 2

The programme is ideal for those who already have responsibility for day to day decision making, managing a small team of staff or allocation of work. The programme consists of units designed to help the learner manage their own resources, provide leadership for their team, develop productive working relationships with colleagues and ensure their actions reduce risks to health and safety. The programme enhances the personal growth and development required to succeed in the business environment.

The qualification consists of a total of 6 units – 4 mandatory plus 2 from a range of options. See the Full Unit List for details.

Apprenticeship
The Apprenticeship qualification consists of the following elements:

• Key Skills – Application of Number Level 2 and  Communication Level 2
• Technical Certificate in Team Leading Level 2
• Employment Rights and Responsibilities
• NVQ Level 2 – see above

Funding is available in most cases.
