Available at NVQ Level 2 and Apprenticeship our Team Leading qualification has been developed to reflect the most up-to-date thinking on the role of the team leader. The qualification enables you to become a highly effective Team Leader by providing you with the leadership skills you need to motivate your team members and succeed in achieving agreed business targets.

The NVQ Level 2 and Apprenticeship gives you formal recognition of your performance within the work place and assesses your knowledge and understanding of the key areas of Team Leading.

NVQ Level 2

The programme is ideal for those who already have responsibility for day to day decision making, managing a small team of staff or allocation of work. The programme is designed to help the learner manage their own resources, provide leadership for their team, develop productive working relationships with colleagues and ensure their actions reduce risks to health and safety. The programme enhances the personal growth and development required to succeed in a Team Leading environment.

Apprenticeship
The Apprenticeship qualification consists of the following elements:

• Key Skills – Application of Number Level 2 and  Communication Level 2
• Technical Certificate in Team Leading Level 2
• Employment Rights and Responsibilities
• NVQ Level 2 – see above
