Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA)

Government legislation as well as the General Social Care Council recommends that every care employee should be trained in the Protection of Vulnerable Adults.
Our POVA course enables employees to understand how and why people abuse others, to recognise signs and symptoms and the reporting procedures.
The course is aimed at anyone looking after an individual classified as vulnerable of working in an organisation where awareness of POVA is required. The course covers:

Duration: Half day
Cost: £450  for up to 12 people (as little as £37.50 per person).
