The Safe Handling and Moving course provides an insight into the risks associated with moving and handling and covers:

• An understanding of current legislations
• Knowledge of responsibilities
• The importance of risk assessment
• An understanding of ergonomics
• An understanding of the basic principles of back care and posture
• A basic understanding of the physiology of the spine
• General principles of moving and handling
• Practical session of moving and handling techniques

Duration: 1 day
Cost: £800  for up to 12 people (as little as £67 per person).
